Three SPC members saw the eye-opening movie "In Plain Sight", about the pervasive and rapidly-growing problem, not just in other areas of the world, but in our own country! The movie documents stories of young girls and women trafficked all over the U.S., including a young girl from Appalachia whose mother sold her and another young woman who was trafficked in Baltimore.  Several of us are exploring ways to share information about this problem with our youth and parents and to learn how to identify a possible trafficking victim. Stay tuned for details coming soon. In the meantime, if you think someone is a victim of human trafficking, call 1.888.3737.888, the National Human Trafficking Resource Center, to get information and support.
