Prayer, understood broadly as “expanding the heart in the presence of God” (John Calvin), is an essential component in building a school of love and community of compassion. Weekly Sunday worship and frequent eucharistic practice ground us as community.  In addition, we seek to provide a range of other opportunities and supports for deepening lives of prayer.

Taize services -- prayer in song and silence -- are held on the first Wednesday of each month at 7 pm (during the school year).

Other opportunities for prayer and deep listening, including on and off site retreats, and special services associated with the liturgical year, are offered throughout each year.

We also encourage spiritual companionship as an essential spiritual practice, through both one-on-one spiritual direction as well as small groups.  Contact Ethel Hornbeck for more information.
